Automotive Masking Tape
|
This tape is great to use to make lines when using stencil components to create
negatively sandblasted doors or glass. It resists normal sandblast pressure and
is very easy to apply and remove. It is available in 1/8 and 1/4 inch widths. It
is also very useful when trying to straighten lines or fix other curved lines. It
is an essential supply in our studio.

Applicators (also known as squeegees)
|
These are used to press down application tape onto the resist material and also
to help apply the resist to the glass, stone, wall etc. A disposable putty knife
can be used and we’ve even used the back of a comb but these applicators are made
especially for this purpose. They come in a few sizes with the 4inch size being
the one all studios should have. The 6 inch and 12 inch are also very handy in helping
apply larger stencils. The 6 and 12 inch sizes have optional handles that are recommended
as it makes them easier to use.

Low Tack Protective Film
|
This is used to cover any surfaces that need protection during the sandblasting
process but where the sandblast spray is not going to be intentionally directed.
It can be used on the back surface of glass that is going to be sandblasted. It
is most commonly used to cover any surfaces of doors that have already been finished
or any unfinished stain grade wood doors. This blue film, which is commonly used
to protect the surfaces of new appliances is in rolls of 600 feet in length. We
stock it in 6 inch and 12 inch widths as they seem to fit most of our needs. Note:
If you are going to purchase just one roll, we suggest the 12 inch width. We use
it a lot whereas we use the 6 inch occasionally.

Display Stands (Easels)
These provide an affordable, attractive way to display your art that is to be displayed
on a shelf, counter, desk, etc. We carry two series of the wire frame stands that
have an antique brass finish. These are both very stable for displaying your artwork

Design Books
Having a book of designs is invaluable when meeting a client onsite. In fact, it
is even helpful to have the designs in a loose leaf binder format as a quick reference
in the office or studio. You can then pull out pages and make copies when needed
to give your clients to carry home to discuss and make final design decisions. It
is perfectly fine for you to download and print all of the design PDF’s and create
your own book. However, recognizing that this is not of great convenience, let alone
the time required, ProStencil has these books available for a reasonable price.

If You have other supplies that you need and can’t locate a source, please contact
